Fabrex / Solar-Seal® specializes in professional cleaning for design-quality upholstery fabrics, including textiles that many traditional carpet and upholstery cleaners are unable to safely clean. Our experience includes silk, linen, wool, cotton, and a wide range of natural and synthetic fibers.
Because every textile is different, we never rely on a single cleaning method. Before cleaning begins, our trained technicians visually and physically inspect the fabric and perform a colorfastness test to evaluate dye stability. We then select a cleaning system and solution specifically suited to the fabric, construction, and level of soiling.

Every service begins by thoroughly vacuuming the upholstery to remove dust and loose dry soil. Individual spots and spills are then evaluated and pretreated before and during cleaning. Our technicians use neutral-pH cleaning agents customized for the specific fabric and soiling conditions, along with a general deodorizer to help eliminate non-specific residual odors.
Our primary upholstery cleaning system uses low-moisture hot-water extraction, but delicate or specialty fabrics may require dry-solvent or dry-foam cleaning instead.
